Your Questions Answered

Discover everything you need to know about our nutrition and holistic wellness services

What can I expect during my first consultation?

Your initial consultation is a comprehensive 90-minute session where we explore your health history, current health concerns, diet, lifestyle, and any medical records you bring. Together, we’ll create a personalised treatment plan to guide you towards better health.

Do I need to bring anything to my appointment?

Yes, please bring any recent pathology results and information on current medications. New clients also need to complete our Patient Questionnaire and Privacy Policy before your first consultation.

How many consultations will I need?

The number of consultations depends on your individual health goals and needs. Typically, clients see the most benefits from a few regular follow-ups to track progress and make adjustments to their treatment plan, whereas more chronic conditions may need a longer-term strategy, depending on their goals.

Do you offer online consultations?

Yes, we offer both in-person and online consultations for your convenience. You can book an online session through our booking portal, just like an in-person consultation.

What types of health concerns do you treat?

We take a holistic whole-body approach to address a variety of concerns from digestive issues to fatigue, stress, skin problems, weight loss, optimal diet for healthy ageing and more. We also provide coaching support for those looking for greater harmony and a sense of wellbeing in their lives.

What happens if I need to cancel my appointment?

We understand that life is busy and sometimes plans change.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide more than 24 hours’ notice so we can attempt to fill your appointment.

Missed appointments or cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice from the appointment time will incur a cancelled booking fee which will be equal to 50% of the fee for that booking.

Can nutritional and nutritional supplements work alongside conventional medicine?

Yes, nutrition and nutritional supplements complement conventional medicine beautifully. We work with GPs and specialists to ensure our clients receive holistic care that supports their overall health goals.

Do I need to stop taking my current medications?

No, we don’t advise stopping any medications without consultation with your healthcare provider. Nutrition is designed to support your health alongside any prescribed medications and we work in partnership with your specialists.

Will I see results immediately?

While some clients notice improvements early on, optimising your nutrition focuses on long-term health and sustainable change. It’s about addressing root causes, so results often build over time for lasting wellness.

Are nutritional therapeutics evidence-based?

Yes, nutritional therapeutics integrates scientific research with traditional wisdom. We use evidence-based practices, functional testing, and personalised treatment plans to ensure effective outcomes.

I don't have a health condition. Can I still benefit from seeing a nutritionist?

Yes absolutely! A nutritionist can look at areas of health in great detail to identify key nutritional deficiencies or areas that may be out of balance and optimise your diet for increased healthspan and longevity. No one’s health is perfect and “prevention is better than cure.”

Will I have to follow a strict diet?

Our approach to diet is practical and flexible and tailored to fit your needs. We believe in enjoyable eating habits that support your health and lead to long term sustainable change. We don’t believe in very restrictive diets and eliminating whole food groups unless (unless there is an absolute need).
